1995 was the year of Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise,” TLC’s “Waterfalls,” and Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose.” Alternative rock dominated with bands like Green Day, Oasis, and Alanis Morissette releasing iconic albums.

We lined up to see “Toy Story,” “Braveheart,” “Clueless,” and “Apollo 13.” It was the year of “As if!” and “To infinity and beyond!”

Windows 95 was released, changing computing forever. The internet was just becoming mainstream with less than 1% of the world online. Cell phones were rare and massive. We used pagers, payphones, and actually had to memorize phone numbers.
